Sumptuous food, immaculately presented, served brilliantly with a smile!
We booked for an Easter brunch, and our family was greeted and treated with unparalleled warmth.
We ordered smashed avo on toast, eggs royale (salmon), grilled chicken burger, and a mini Irish breakfast. And a family favourite belgium waffle to finish.
All dishes were served in a rustic style, generous portion sizes, packed with oodles of flavour. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed all presentations, every bite, and every interaction with staff.
We'd love to come again, and would highly recommend Rustic Roots to anyone staying in or passing by Athlone.

The place is really cute and cosy, such a cosy spot to relax. The service was excellent, we felt very well looked after. The food is absolutely amazing! I loved the fish and chips, full of flavour, and the apple vinaigrette was such a lovely surprise — it went perfectly. The portion was generous and really satisfying.

We were visiting Athlone and this place is one of the best restaurants we even been to. The food was delicious and we’re very picky, specially our two girls. The atmosphere is very friendly and staff very nice. We didn’t use to wait for service, we’ve been looked after straight away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
